You will love taking your time in this well situated apartment, between the sea and the old town. On the private balcony you will face the sea and enjoy life on the table for two in a romantic and peaceful mood.

You will also love the atmosphere of the apartment. It's baroque and modern at the same time. It has 300 years old painting on the ceiling, moldings on the walls, antic marble fire place (as decoration), marble kitchen work top and and the furniture are modern and stylish.

Also you will really feel the atmosphere from the lively and charming market at your feet

Self-catering bright and modern apartment with stunning sea view, overlooking the Cours Saleya market which offers daily the most beautifull flowers and the very best of regional products.

The apartment is composed with a entrance hall, with a large closet for your suitcase and for clothes, a fully equipped kitchen open on the stylish living room which lead to one of the rare balcony on the Cours Saleya.

On the upper floor there is the bedroom with a lot of various closet to hand clothe, and a nice bathroom. The apartment has double windows so as to reduce the noise of the city and also the heat from outside. It also has air conditioning on both floors.

Situated in the old town, which is the city's beating heart of Nice, by day and by night, surrounded by nice café's terraces, bars and restaurants, you will have easy access to the beaches, to the public transportation and to the other attraction of the town.

Everyday you will find different markets: the flower and vegetables market, the antiquity market on Monday and an artisanal market in the evening in the summer… At any time, there is a great animation and a good atmosphere.

The sea is at about 100 meters and Castel private beach about 200 meters.

If you have some free time, try to visit the Misericordia Church which is just next to the apartment, and is a baroque masterpiece and walk around in the streets of the old town of Nice or on the castle hill to get a wonderful overview of the city.

Great location, ok property

The apartment was in a cool, old building that did have some historical touches, but it needed maintenance and repairs. The unit was neat, but didn't feel very clean and a lot of glasses and silverware seemed to be missing. Compared to other places we've stayed on this trip, we didn't feel it was a very good value. The location was its best asset.

Ahh! the nights overlooking the Cour Saleya...

We just got back to USA and are already have PFWD (Post France Withdrawal and Depression)... no almonde crossiants, double expresso's, 5 euro bottles of rose', 8 euro plats, and much more! In Nice, it's getting to stay at Ruffin's and his brothers apartments. Right over the Cour Saleya, markets at your feet (antique, flower, veggies and street artists) and La Voglia down the street for lunch or dinner or both, done that! The apartment was perfect, all the utensils needed for a couple of days or a week. Perfect location and perfect views of the the sea & city down the coast. Jes Suis Nice!!!

Perfect location! Amazing apartment!

This apartment is exactly as shown and the door to the building opens onto the flower/farmers market and tons of restaurants. The walk to the beach is maybe 3 minutes. The apartment is equipped with everything you will need.

Ruffin was great to work with and was quick to correct a small mix up upon our arrival. When we return it will be our first choice.

perfect mix of old and new

This flat is the nicest I've ever rented in Nice. The owner has done a fantastic job of preserving the period details, like the fresco on the ceiling, but updated it will all the modern conveniences (fantastic kitchen, decent Wifi, etc.) You would be able to cook a small meal here if you wanted, perhaps with the fixings purchased from the morning market that occurs below, although there are certainly plenty of great restaurants nearby. At the very least plan to have your aperitif out on the balcony at sunset, as the view is even more magical than the pictures show.

Last but not least, although it's in an old building, and the flat has a great view.... there is an elevator!

Perfect Location

Great apartment located close to many amenities. The balcony over looks a busy market during the day and several restaurants come evening. Lots of small bakeries and specialty shops only a short walk away. View out to the sea is amazing.

Apartment is perfect size for two and has everything you need. Quiet, modern and clean. Owners live in the same building and are friendly and accommodating.
