About the property

Don Pelayo apartment, offered by Genteel Home company, was inaugurated last August 15th and it's placed at Don Pelayo street, a few metres from The Cathedral, Alcázar and Archive of Indies, a magnificent place in the city centre.

You can acceed to the apartment through a few staircases. It's a duplex where, on the first floor, there's the first bedroom, a complete bathroom, a beautiful living room and the kitchen, totally equipped. On the second floor is the second bedroom, another compelte bathroom and the two private terraces, one of them with more than 25 sqm and the other with around 10 sqm; two ideal places to relax and sunbathe.

Don Pelayo street is in the very centre of Arenal neighbourhood, maybe the best place downtown, completely safe and lively during the day. In the surroundings of the apartment you'll find several restaurants, tapas bars and terraces, most of them really famous in the city.

DEPOSIT: You will be asked for the card details upon arrival at the apartment.

Agreements with public parking.

** 6 nights minimun stay during the Holly Week ( 8th of April till 17th of April).

** 6 nights minimun stay during The Feria of Seville (29th of April till 7th of May).

Modern 2-bedroom apartment with delightful terrace

The apartment was as advertised - beautiful, centrally located and with gorgeous outdoor space (terrace off the second bedroom). The apartment has two floors (2nd and 3rd floors using the American way of counting floors). The lower floor has a medium sized combined living/dining room, bedroom with queen bed, bathroom (not en-suite) and large kitchen. The upper floor has two twin beds that can be pushed together and a small bathroom with one large terrace and one small terrace. The style is modern and the location is central. It's only a couple of blocks away from the Cathedral and lots of restaurants and bars. The location is usually quiet - we only had one night where we heard noise from the nearby bar La Jolla - all the other nights were quiet.

We had a couple minor maintenance issues that were addressed quickly.

Communication and check-in were pleasant and easy.

Excellent location to attractions and restaurants.

Nice layout for two to four people but would prefer a queen bed in the 2nd level bedroom as it has two terraces and and great views. You can see the Cathedral steeple while laying in bed!

Would also recommend a light over the dining table.

Would rent it again!

Conflicted

I’m very conflicted writing this review. The apartment is lovely, clean and roomy. The location is absolutely perfect. You are steps away from the Cathereral, fantastic food and transportation. The apartment is located on a very quite street.

The host and company coordinating the details were so accommodating and flexible with our arrangements and we were very appreciative.

However, during our stay we did experience the garagabe/ sewer smells that really became powerful at times. The smell was primarily in the kitchen area and we could close the door..but it was definitely a drawback. We believe it was coming from the street.

We never addressed this with the owner as we were just so busy during our days there.

In the end, our family of 4 was split if we would return...hence...conflicted.

A good home base for two couples

Good location. Clean and attractive. Great rooftop terrace. Very responsive staff. Would benefit from WI-FI on the top floor, 4 cup coffee maker, and a way to bind the twin beds together for couples so you don’t slip into the crack in the middle of the night.
