About the property

Bluebells - a holiday home that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Stunning two bedroom holiday apartment in the village of Beckley, East Sussex, with its own fishing lake and beautiful countryside to explore in the owners' 45 acres grounds.

Bluebells is a large family apartment, located in a beautiful quiet setting in the village of Beckley, close to the medieval town of Rye. You have one large double bedroom with ensuite shower and one smaller double bedroom next to the family bathroom. A modern, well equipped kitchen opens into the orangery which is used as the dining room. The wow factor is the lounge with its bi-folding doors opening out onto the terrace and the views of the meadows and woodlands beyond - great for bird watching or star gazing of an evening. Guests are able to fish in the owners' lake, which is located in the grounds, but must bring their own rods.

Ruhiges Cottage in idyllischer Umgebung

  • 5 of 5

The village today has a thriving community of young and old and a good traditional English pub, The Rose and Crown. Close to the Cinque Ports Towns of Tenterden and Rye, Bluebells is the perfect base for exploring Kent and Sussex.

Great Dixter House and Gardens and Bodiam Castle are all close by, as well as the Kent and East Sussex Railway and Bodiam Boating Station, all great places to visit.

The medieval town of Rye is just six miles away and whether you wish to explore its historic past or visit its many tea rooms or antique shops, it's definitely worth a visit.

The beautiful sandy beach at Camber Sands is just past Rye, or head towards Winchelsea Beach or Pett Level for a quieter beach and great rock pooling at low tide. The towns of Hastings and Ashford are about a thirty minute drive away or let the train take the strain and take a trip from Rye.
