About Ian and Marilyn Hendry

My wife and I are 62 and married for 41 years. In the last few years we've enjoyed our holiday lodge on the island and have let it regularly. Although we live in Bognor Regis we have many friends there and indeed relations as our son has married a local girl from Seaview. We love to visit as often as possible to savour the laid back feel of the area.

The lodge has amazing views across the sea and nature park, the Duver, to the harbour and marina. The accommodation is quite special and the outdoor decking very large for al fresco dining etc.

Beautiful location and very well equipped lodge

We knew from the pictures that there was a view from the lodge but you can't really appreciate it until you stay there, it's stunning. Beach is literally 5 mins walk if that and is also very beautiful. The actual park was very quiet and safe for our children to go out and play on the park or sports court. The food in the restaurant was very reasonable on price and good quality and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The lodge is furnished to a high standard and there is everything you need for your stay. Beds are comfortable and everywhere was clean.

The location is great, you're literally no more than 15 mins away from everything, there's a huge Tesco ten minutes away for food shopping.

We would definitely return again as everything was so convenient and made for a relaxing break. Thank you for letting us stay there!

Nice site but accommodation cleanliness and maintenance needs improving

Check in was hassle free, nice clean site and not far to walk to beach, on site shop, restaurants, entertainment venue etc however we felt let down by the accommodation as there was dirt and mauld around windows, the hob in kitchen didn't work very well, kitchen cupboards were not very clean, shower screen didn't close/open very well and there was lots of mauld around the shower unit. Cobwebs in bedrooms, bathroom and shower room. The washing machine is outside in a cupboard / box but didn't look fit to use. We were expecting towels to be provided as most places do provide towels so we ended up having to buy some. Outdoors seating needs replacing as plastic chairs have cracks. It is a shame about these things as it could be a really nice holiday home in a lovely place. On the plus side we had fab weather!

Good, large place with everything there!

Great location for the island. Our stay was comfortable. Place was clean and tidy with everything there other than towels. Shop on site for essentials. Beaches 5 mins walk away. Would definitely stay there again. The nicest place we've stayed in on a caravan site. Thanks!

Great accommodation and conveniently located.

Lovely spacious accommodation. Quiet family site, we stayed first weekend in April the site was very quiet , good food in the club house very friendly. Five min walk (hill) to a lovely beach with a cafe . Would stay again.

Nodes Point Holiday Park is set in 65 acres of natural downland with views across Bembridge harbour and out across the English channel. It runs gently down to the waters edge and the safe sandy beaches of Bembridge and the idyllic Priory Bay. All this and Bembridge harbour and nature reserve, are 10 minutes walk with no roads to cross. Seaview yachting village is 5 minute drive.The main resorts of Ryde and Sandown are 10 mins away. All the other famous Isle of Wight attractions are within 30 mins.
