About Beverley Bell

We have lived in and around Skipton for the past 23 years and purchased Number 36 three years ago as our family home, before deciding that we believed it would make a fantastic holiday home due to it's size and location.

Check out our website at, for late deals and offers.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep we feel it has lots to offer for a great holiday or short break. The Dales provide one of the best walking areas in the country and as keen walkers ourselves we get our boots on whenever time allows.

We live nearby and lovingly look after Number 36 ourselves, to ensure it is furnished, maintained and cleaned to a very high standard.

We have been married for 35 years and have 2 grown up sons.

We are now proud granparents to our grandson Stanley, born 10th May 2017.

Beverley Bell purchased this house in 2013

Why Beverley Bell chose Skipton

We bought this property just over 6 years ago and have upgraded and modernised it, then decided that it would make a superb holiday let, as it is something we have always wanted to do. We have tried to make the property as family or couple friendly as we could, and also the position of the property makes it an ideal location to explore Skipton and the fabulous surrounding areas.

The rooms are all of a generous proportion with leather and fabric sofas in the light and airy lounge, and a wood floor compliments both the dining room and entrance hall.

We have decorated the inside and outside sympathetically and really believe this will be one of the premier holiday lets in Skipton.

Check out our website at for further information, photographs and late deals.

Wow !!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned home from a weekend visit to No 36 and can't praise it enough. Definitely the best property we have stayed in. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The house was much bigger than we expected from the pictures and the super king bed was very comfortable. The wine, biscuits and milk were a very welcome touch and we were thrilled to find the paint pots in the cupboard so we were able to identify the colour in the lounge and purchase a tester pot! Parking on street was no problem during our stay . There are plenty of books containing walks in the Dales and information on local attractions, and if the weather takes a turn for the worse curl up on the comfy sofas and take advantage of the Wifi and Netflix !

Thank you Andrew and Bev for a lovely stay. We are already planning a return visit.

Very comfortable, clean and well supplied home, lovely.

  • 5 of 5

Lovely Victorian, updated, short walk to town. House is well supplied with pretty much everything you could want. The house was spotless. The owners, who are close by, welcomed us and explained everything. They were flexible on timing, early arrival and late departure ..which they can do if possible with the scheduke of people staying. We got a bit hot in one bedroom, asked if they had a fan, yes! There it was when we got home that day. Very happy.

This holiday let gives 100% and more. The host who met us was lovely and left us treats of wine and biscuits along with tea, coffee and milk. The house is decorated so tastefully and so clean. Deceptively spacious with comfy beds. I will definitely book No 36 again in the future. Thank you for making my family gathering so special.

A Wonderful House

  • 5 of 5

We wanted somewhere in Skipton close to the town centre. No.36 was everything we wanted. Close to all Skipton has to offer and close to all major routes.

The house itself was excellent. The anenities were probably the best we have had and we have stayed in many properties home and abroad. What house has 8 toilet rolls, 20 dishwasher tablets and enough washing powder etc for more than 10 loads of washing. The owners are very conscious of making a fantastic first impression and they definitely succeeded. The house was spotlessly clean and the bedding was of a high quality.

I have no reservations in thoroughly recommending this fantastic property. We as a family have all promised to return sometime in the future.
