Hollyhock Cottage is on the ground floor of the converted barn and provides a comfortable retreat from it all. The kitchen is well equipped and a door opens to the patio area where there is a table and chairs. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower There are two acres of gardens shared only with Appletree cottage and we are surrounded by fields. The only sounds you are likely to hear are the sheep and birds!

Luxury towels and bed linen are provided.

There is a shared utility room with a washing machine iron, ironing board and lots of information about local sights and attractions.

This is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet but still be within a reasonable distance of Cornwalls many sights and attractions. There are also lots of walks nearby and we are only a short distance from the popular Camel Trail popular with walkers and cyclists, if you feel energetic! Blisland, a favourite of John Betjeman and unique in Cornwall for its village green, is situated in a wonderfully sheltered position on the western slopes of Bodmin Moor and is ideally situated for both north and south coasts. Guests have an enviable choice of attractions on the doorstep, ranging from cycling (or walking) the Camel Trail, exploring the moor with its wooded valleys, waterfalls and majestic tors or visiting the well known houses & gardens,

Notes on accommodation: There is a utility room with a washing machine for use by both cottages. We want you to relax from the moment you arrive, so we greet you with fresh scones ( because we like to make our scones as you arrive, we do not serve them after 6.00pm.) and leave you with some tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread and jam to start you off. Last, but not least, a toilet roll in each bathroom. tissues, and facial wipes. Well behaved dogs welcome, but please check with us first. Outside: Each property has a patio area with a table and chairs and guests are free to enjoy the landscaped gardens of 2 acres. There is a barbecue and a selection of outdoor games There are some beautiful walks right on our doorstep, including up to the marvellous Jubilee rock, from the top of which you see for miles, the beautiful rugged moors and, almost, both North and South coasts! A favourite spot to watch the sunsets. Just a few minutes walk away!

Really enjoyed our stay in Bisland Lisa and Gerard were wonderful lovely fresh baked scones , bread and yummy jam very so welcoming. Will be staying there again soon I hope. Thank you guys

Absolutely fantastic!

Definitely the best holiday cottage in Cornwall. Huge garden, perfect location, fully stocked with an abundance of children' games. All creature comforts provided for.
