Balfron Hayloft is a magnificent traditional farm steading conversion offering ideal family sized holiday accommodation. Set in the rolling countryside of Stirlingshire with picturesque views of Ben Lomond and the Ochil Hills, Balfron Hayloft is an ideal base for touring the Scottish heartlands.

With ample living and dining space in the large, double height lounge you can sit back and relax in front of the log burning stove and watch the wildlife from the windows or watch the latest movie on the 3D smart TV.

The fully fitted modern kitchen with built in appliances, integrated coffee machine and wine fridge makes cooking and entertaining an easy task after a hard days’ sightseeing.

The children can entertain themselves in the Family TV room with 3D smart TV, PlayStation 4 with a selection of games,with bean bags and sofa bed. This room also has an adjoining shower room making it ideal for extra guests.

Downstairs there is a King-size bedroom with ensuite featuring a bath with over bath shower.

Upstairs, a gallery landing provides access to three further bedrooms: one twin, one double and one king-size. All upstairs bedrooms have built in wardrobes and ensuite shower rooms with the Kingsize bedroom featuring a Juliette balcony and ensuite with full size bath and over bath shower.

The outside seating area to the front of the property offers spectacular views to the Trossachs and with a fire pit and BBQ provided you can make the most of the views while relaxing round the fire.

With ample parking provided and also a garage for storing golf clubs and outdoor gear you will be hard pushed to find a better property for enjoying the Scottish outdoors.

Bookings at Easter, during summer and Christmas are for 7 nights from Friday. 3 nights minimum at other times

Perfect Pre and Post Wedding Stay

We wanted a place that was ideal for our family of 10 to attend our son's wedding in nearby Fintry. We found the perfect place. The property is stunning and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. All of us had a wonderful time and if we are ever back in this part of the world then we would definitely want to stay here again.

Wonderful house in a stunning location

This is one of the best self catering properties we have stayed in.

Beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Comfy beds, quality linen and lovely white fluffy towels.

I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely house.

The location is excellent easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and the highlands.

High quality with matching price tag

House was lovely and it we had an excellent stay. It was expensive but I would say the quality of the place was worth the price. It did leave a bad taste that a very large chunk of our deposit was held back because of fake tan stains on the bed sheets.

Owner's Response: We are delighted that you had an excellent stay. The owners do pull out all the stops to make sure you have everything you need. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed that some of your deposit was held back. Unfortunately when towels and sheets are badly marked they cannot be re-used. We always send photos of any damage along with a receipt/invoice for the cost of replacement. We do like to maintain our properties to a high standard, which we believe our guests appreciate, and this is why we will not re-use stained bedding and towels. Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.

  • This price is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity,towels, linen and a small welcome pack on arrival.



    At end of your stay, the good housekeeping deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.



    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment must be made on booking.



    BY BOOKING AND MAKING PAYMENT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION :



    Deposit, security payment and payment



    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has been made by you. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the letting fee before or on the date given above.

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within seven days of receipt of the full payment.

    3. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus a breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has been made. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 2 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.



    Changes to the booking dates



    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.



    Cancellation Charges



    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however good housekeeping deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.



    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled weeks, there will only be a £50 administration charge made, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.

  • Damage deposit: £500.00
