Spacious rural detached villa with pool

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,937 sq. ft.
Property type villa
Minimum Stay 2 - 7 nights

About the property

Villa with large garden, terrace, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and pool

Villa with large swimming pool is on 4 000m2 of private land and is located at the end of a short 'strada bianca (dirt road). The garden is fenced and includes both a vineyard and an olive and various fruit trees and palms. A large new pool with magnesium based cleaning system and a lovely veranda and terrace offer many opportunities to relax and enjoy in peace.

Ground floor: large porch, large L-shaped living room with fireplace (gas), a modern kitchen and spacious dining area. Toilet and laundry with washer and dryer. Upstairs a large bedroom with bathroom en-suite and a large and a small bedroom with a second bathroom. Both bedrooms have direct access to a large terrace on the 1st floor.

The quiet is overwhelming and yet it is not isolated, between three picturesque villages. The buurmannen Eugidio, Marco and Giuseppe always keep an eye on things and are always willing to help when needed.

The villa has just been modernized with new luxurious bathrooms, an open kitchen and new flooring (tiles downstairs, upstairs wood).

Un vero palazzo

  • 5 of 5

The house offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Location is perfect, very quiet and private, but close to the village of Rapagnano. We loved shopping in Oase (open every day !) the supermarket offers an amazing variety of fresh fish. For cena we recommend Il vecchio molino (in the village itself) and Vela (in Porto San Gorgio)

If the property was ours we would consider cutting 2 trees to create a view on the beautiful sunflowers :-)

Owner's Response: Dear Nadine, thank you and great to hear that you have really enjoyed your stay with us. Last year we cut the first two trees to indeed create a more open view to the surrounding hills, so we understand your feedback. We might take some more trees out when we are harvesting our olives in October!

This could have been fantastic

  • 3 of 5

We were 2 families with one infant each that rented the house for 3 nights.,

The pool area, outside hang out places and dining area are really good, you also have a lot of things you can do or play. The view is also nice and great.

When we came to the house it was a lot of left overs in the fridge and in the kitchen which felt not so nice. The cleaning was not good, it was sand on the floor in the entrance rooms, spiderwebs in a lot of the rooms and it was NO air condition in any of the bedrooms which made it tough for our 2 families infants during the nights we stayed there. We also told this to the owner directly and the only thing they did was responding with "we know that we are not there yet with the cleaners" which of course did not helped us at all. We also did not get any discount afterwards.

If the owner only makes sure that the cleaning is good and that they are a bit more smart towards the persons renting the house I think the total experience will be much better quickly. All in all we felt that it was not worth the price paid per night but if the owner shapes up it can become a great stay!

Owner's Response: We have been in close contact with our guests during their short stay and answered a lot of their questions immediately. As a result we have spoken with the cleaning staff directly and ran through our expectations on how the cleaning should be improved to prevent problems in the future. After that, we have explicitly checked this with our new guests and had no further problems. The house has one mobile airco unit in one of the sleeping rooms and all rooms are equipped with mobile fans. Our own experience is that despite the sometimes high outside temperatures the house keeps relatively cool due to the solid stone structure as long as the shutters remain closed during the day, which is usually more convenient compared to airconditioned rooms. However, this is a personal view and due to the feedback we have bought a 2nd mobile airco unit for in the sleeping rooms. Again we have checked this with guests that stayed afterwards and had no further complaints, only very positive feedback.

As lovely as the pictures look!

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a week staying in this lovely house. The house is beautifully presented and as the pictures show finished to a very high standard. Egon and Shab have provided everything you need for a really relaxing holiday. Including pool towels which makes life much easier for packing. The house was very clean and well maintained. The pool area is clean and furnished to a very high standard making lazing by the pool a pleasure. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make catering easy. Great BBQ ideal for relaxing evenings sat at the outside seating/tables. The local supermarkets offer a fantastic selection of meats, fish, bread etc. Do try the local wines they are excellent.

Egon and Shab were incredibly helpful prior to a) booking b) our arrival and c) during our stay, we could not have asked for more.

In the information pack they recommended several restaurants, we would highly recommend the Agriturismo Pomod'oro the food was superb, service was great and it was very reasonably priced. In fact it was so nice we went twice. We also went to Le Frattine in Porto San Giorgio for pizza, again this was really lovely. The pizzas were excellent and such good value. The people were so friendly. We followed the pizza with Ice cream at a bar just by the station (10 Euros for five ice creams - incredible value and nothing can beat a good Italian ice cream).

This is such a beautiful region to visit we would highly recommend it and would be more than happy to return to this beautiful house.

The Wilson family (Six adults, mum, dad and four twenty somethings).

Perfect Holiday Villa

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this amazing villa with pool.

The owners have furnished the villa to a very high standard and have provided guests with everything required for a perfect stay. Everything is brand new and well maintained. The amazing pictures are exactly as you will find the villa. You will not be disappointed apart from when its time to leave.

The villa is in a beautiful rural setting with stunning views and perfectly situated to explore the surrounding region with beautiful hill top towns, scenery and beach resorts all with plenty to see and a wide choice of places to eat. A car is definitely recommended. Egon and Shab supplied a very comprehensive information pack and had excellent communication before, during and after our holiday.

We very highly recommend the villa and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Heerlijk huis

  • 4 of 5

The villa stands on 4 000 m2 of land, among the rolling hills on which sunflowers and corn are grown. Macerata has an open air summer opera festival, the top of a hill Fermo always buzzing and offers great views of the sea and the mountains, Ascoli Piceno is the splendor of the south of Le Marche, with the most beautiful square in Europe.

In summer to go alongside the rest in the villa with pool also love to go hiking or mountain biking in the vast National Park Monti Sibillini, villages or towns to visit or to the beach. There are many possibilities with both sand and pebble beaches. Both free beaches and many opportunities to rent a beach umbrella with sun beds for a day or longer.

Every hill in Le Marche has a village or a town with rich history, beautiful buildings and always impressive views, including to the foothills of the Apennines and the Abruzzo (> 2. 500m high).

Life here is authentic with lots of agriculture and many shoe production; there are many opportunities to go 'shoe shop' at the many outlets.

The caves of Frasassi are impressive and Urbino and San Marino are recommended to visit. A region that asks to be more discovered! And it is only a 2.5 hour drive to cities like Perugia and Assisi in Umbria and three hours to Rome, Florence or Bologna. To bore you here, you do not, if it is lazing by the pool stay under the Italian sun a nice prospect.
