The family bathroom is situated at the end of the hall, which has a shower over the bath.Due to the situation of the property, the steps and the steep garden, we recommend that the property is not suitable for young children, elderly people or anyone with limited mobility.Halsecombe Cottage kitchen is fitted with electric cooker with hob and washing machine. There is hardly any need to use your car during a stay in Halsecombe Cottage, we like to think that most of what you may need can be purchased in the village of Porlock. It is a traditional working Exmoor village boasting three pubs, two grocery shops, Post Office, a traditional local butcher, chemist, cash machine, petrol station, hardware shop, visitor centre and a range of independent restaurants, shops and tea rooms.Minehead is the nearest town, approximately 7 miles away. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrisons are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours), most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
