Just minutes down the peninsula is Porthcurnick beach, home to the Hidden Hut - a delightful beachside café where you just need to bring your plate and an appetite.St Mawes is a picturesque fishing town and is home to great galleries, shops, cafes and water based activities, such as kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, or catch a ferry and go dolphin spotting. The North Coast with its many Michelin starred restaurants is a short drive away. Visit Padstow, Watergate Bay and Rock. This detached holiday cottage has a small, secluded, pretty garden for you to enjoy an alfresco meal; there are many places to buy local produce, from local caught fish to summer fruits. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and many National Trust houses are all within easy reach of this quiet and peaceful cottage. Cycle hire, golf and sailing are all available nearby.
