Head out of Rye towards Winchelsea or Hastings and discover what secrets the towns linked to smugglers have to hide, or visit Hastings Country Park, with stunning cliff walks or woodland glades and blow away the cobwebs. For those wishing to explore the many castles dotted inland and along the coast, why not visit Pevensey or Hever Castle, both beautiful and close by.
