About the property

Two bedroomed apartment with private pool only a short walk from town centre

Apartment La Traboule is a self-contained private wing of a villa situated in a quiet residential area of Sainte Maxime. Sandy beaches, marina, seafront promenade, cafes, shops, markets and a wide choice of restaurants are within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Saint Tropez is just a short ferry crossing over the bay (caught from the Marina in the centre of town).

There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, with wonderful sea views. The bedrooms both have king-sized beds and televisions with English satellite channels. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned. One bedroom has an ensuite toilet and shower room, the other has access to the family bathroom with separate toilet and shower room. Each bedroom has patio doors leading out onto the terrace overlooking the pool. Patio tables and chairs are provided, ideal for early morning coffee or that late evening drink.

There is a comfortably furnished lounge with flat screen TV with Sky package, DVD and CD player. The lounge has patio doors opening out onto a covered elegantly furnished terrace, the perfect spot for outdoor eating and relaxing. This area is complete with dining table and chairs, sunloungers and parasols, barbecue, and overlooks the pool with a stunning view of the Bay of St Tropez.

This terrace leads down to the private swimming pool (10 x 5 metres) with pool heating, safety alarm and solar shower, surrounded by a paved terrace also with sunloungers (parasols and drinks table have been provided). The terraces are tranquil, beautifully landscaped, not overlooked and catch the sun all day long.

There is also another separate elevated terrace with views towards Saint Tropez town. This area is also equipped with a dining table and seating for 4.

The spacious breakfast kitchen is fully equipped with American style fridge/freezer with ice maker and chilled water, oven/hob, microwave, coffee machine, dish-washer, washing machine/tumble drier and dining table and chairs.

This is a beautiful, peaceful apartment equipped with everything for a relaxing holiday. Located just a few minutes walk from the very heart of Sainte Maxime, a car is not essential on a day to day basis.

Should guests have a car there is a large drive (accessed by electric security gates) with a double covered car port and parking for several cars.

The apartment has recently been completely decorated and furnished throughout to an extremely high standard.

About Caroline Burton

Caroline owned a home interiors shop for 17 years (the business was recently sold) and Derek is an Architect who runs a practice in Sutton Coldfield. We fell in love with Sainte Maxime over 20 years ago, enjoying the beauty and scenery of the local area and the vibrancy of the town itself. For the last 14 years we have owned (and rented out) another beautiful apartment in the same Boulevard as this villa. When this larger and independent property became available we seized the opportunity to buy it. We still can't believe our good fortune.

The property is situated in an exclusive area of Sainte Maxime called Semaphore. Most of the villas here have fabulous sea views but we additionally enjoy an easy short walk into the very heart of the town. It is so lovely to be able to enjoy the convenience and vitality of the shops, bars, restaurants and markets and then return to the peace and tranquility of our property. And the sea views of course, speak for themselves! Peaceful hours can be whiled away watching the activity in the bay, in between a dip in the pool and a glass of wine!

We consider our unique benefits to be the convenient location, stunning sea views, private swimming pool, ample parking with one covered space (although car not essential), traditional Provencal architecture, privacy, lovely green tranquil landscaped garden and surrounding area, different terraces to enjoy, interior comfortably and beautifully furnished to a very high standard from our own interiors shop, new fully equipped kitchen.

Beautiful villa with magnificent bay views.

We have just spent two extremely relaxing weeks in this beautiful two bedroom villa. We have stayed in many villas around the world and this is up there with the best. The owners Caroline and Derek have thought of every detail to make you feel at home and make the most of your holiday. From the new well equipped kitchen with its huge American fridge to the comfortable sun loungers and a number of tables for al fresco dining on the terrace. The double beds are extremely comfortable and both bedrooms have views overlooking the bay. The view of the bay from the large private terrace is spectacular along with the wonderful large heated swimming pool for long lazy days. Locations don't come better than this - Ste Maxime is less than a 10 minute walk away. Its a pretty little town with lots of good restaurants, cafes and shops. Caroline recommended the little indoor market for anything and everything fresh: fish, prepared bbq meats, salads, fruits and bread. We had the good fortune to be staying during Les Voiles (sailing regatta) in St Tropez and the bay was full to bursting with yachts and boats of all sizes, great carnival type of atmosphere, highly recommend. Lots of lovely places to visit along the coast: Port Grimaud, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, St Paul de Vence and Villefrance just to name a few. We would highly recommend this gorgeous villa and the views don't come better than this. Thank you Caroline and Derek for making our holiday complete.

Great time in Ste Maxime

Having stayed for many years in the Owners previous property in Ste Maxime, this was our first visit to their new villa. It is in a beautiful position with sea views from the patio and pool. It was very clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, booking for next year on our departure. If you want a great place to stay in Ste Maxime then have a good look at this property.

An expectional property. We know Ste Maxime well and selected La Traboule for its position to town, and the view. We were not disappointed. A 10 minute walk to town, but quiet and secluded to just sit and watch the boats in the bay. The apartment is impeccably presented, extremely well appointed and equipped. The owners live very discreetly 'next door', so addressing any issues immediately to ensure a perfect holiday.

We have booked for next year.

We had a wonderful week at La Traboule, a stunning property with the most amazing views.

The property was beautifully clean on arrival and is very well kitted out. Caroline and Derek, the owners live next door and are there if you need them, but otherwise keep a very low profile.

This place ticks all our boxes, the location is great : very peaceful, lovely terrace and pool, wonderful views and you can walk into town. There are plenty of great beaches and things to do nearby.

The property is super comfortable and we hope we can return to it for another holiday.

Our Best holiday

We had a wonderful holiday at the luxurious apartment. Glorious views of the med, fabulous garden and pool. And only ten minutes from the town of St Maxime with v gd restaurants and shops. Caroline was lovely: v friendly and efficient, and the apartment had everything we needed and to a 5 star level. We can't wait to return and miss it very much.
