'The space exceeds the photos!' is the comment most used by our guests. We have gone the extra mile in every aspect and it's now paying off. The space is perfect for a party or a large group or families - we're 10 minutes from Turnpike Lane tube station, 15 - 20 minutes to all the top London attractions and you still get to enjoy an idyllic and quiet setting for when you want to chill out in the evenings.

My recommendations for the area include:
- Most tourists love Wood Green High Street as it's 5 minutes from our house and has all the high street stores including Primark, Next, TK MAXX. River Island, H&M, Marks & Spencers etc etc.
- For boutique shopping I recommend Crouch End, either 20 minutes walk or take the 41 bus. This is where all the media type & artists live and there are some fabulous and reasonable shops to find real bargains.
There are many parks near here. Finsbury Park is our favourite. There's also Brentpark, Clissold Park, Hampstead Heath or Highgate. We also have 3 bikes which you could borrow if you fancy taking on the London traffic. (It's the best way to get to know London and both myself & my husband cycle regularly so would recommend it!)
There are 2 cinema's 5 minutes from the house. It's cheap cinema night on a Monday so you can watch the latest movies for less than £5.

I also love sourcing bargains, so would be happy to go onto the deal sites for you and get you some 2-4-1 vouchers etc if you confirm what cuisine you like, or I can pre-book something amazing for you on toptable.
We're only 20 minutes from central London, so whatever you fancy doing, it's all very accessible.
Hope that gives you a flavour of the area and what's possible. We're an irish family living in London, I have twin girls currently aged 5 & 1/2, we're very used to visitors and my dream job, which I'm sure will never happen, would be to open a boutique B&B serving fab food. This is me dipping my toe into the water. But do come and join us, you won't be disappointed
Public transport is easy. You are 5 minutes from the Piccadilly line tube station, you can also catch the 29 bus into town from outside of the tube station, we're 10 minutes by bus from Tottenham Hale rail station - which connects to Stansted Airport and Stratford - and given that we're pretty central - with bus, tube and train links - getting to where you need to go shouldn't be a problem
