Enjoy the best of Soller, a beautiful old town set in a valley of orange and lemon trees surrounded by the magnificent Tramuntana mountains. Occupying the top two floors of an authentic Mallorcan townhouse on a quiet, pedestrian street just yards from the main placa, this self-contained, roomy apartment has been completely refurbished to provide an ideal base for exploring the glorious countryside of north-west Mallorca whilst making the most of the charming delights of a characterful market town that bustles with life all year round. The beach and promenade of Port de Soller are just 3km away and can be reached on foot, by bike, car or by catching the open-sided wooden tram that shuttles back and forth between the town and the Port.

The apartment has two large double bedrooms on the first floor, one with an expansive en-suite bathroom with sunken bath. There’s also a separate bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The top floor is one large open plan, kitchen, sitting and dining area, with a log burner to keep it cosy in the winter months. But the jewel in the crown is the superb split level terrace, which has amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains whilst at the same time offering complete privacy. Perfect for both sunbathing and stargazing, with an outdoor shower, BBQ and shaded sitting area. All the usual amenities are provided, including fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, wifi, TV, Blue ray player. Perfect for one or two couples.

About Sue & Grant

As owners of a design and marketing company, when we decided to refurbish an old townhouse in Soller, we wanted to make sure it was something we could put our own design stamp on. We are fans of clean, modern interiors and have invested in quality fittings and furnishings that meet our aesthetic standards and our interior design approach is intended to make the most of the fantastic light and air of the Mallorcan mountains.

Why Sue & Grant chose Deia - Soller Region

We decided to investigate Mallorca after some friends told us that the long-held British cliches just weren't true. We spent a week exploring the island and just seemed to keep gravitating back to Soller - it immediately drew us in. Soller has everything we wanted: it's active all year round and it feels like a proper place with a real community who are very open and welcoming. We were fortunate in coming across the super people at real estate agents Casas Mallorca who showed us the apartment in a very dilapidated state, but had the imagination and vision to see what it could become. With their help and support, we did a full renovation of an old flat and abandoned attic space, taking half the roof away to reveal superlative views of Soller and the mountains that just take your breath away. It's a view that never fails to lift the soul and one we never tire of going back to.

What makes this apartment unique

Calle St Juan is one of the prettiest streets in Soller - a small plant-lined pedestrian route from the main shopping street Calle de Luna. It is literally a few hundred yards from the main town square, yet due to the amazing acoustic impact of being ringed by mountains, sitting on the terrace you could be miles away, it's so quiet and peaceful. You can go on any number of great walks from the front door, and there are a range of great restaurants both in the town, in the other villages in the valley and down at he Port to keep any garstrophil very happy. And if you've not yet tried Mallorcan wines, you're in for a real treat!

Immaculate property with everything you could need-a real home from home, only better!

I came across the Atico by chance and what an incredibly lucky find! The photos don`t really do it justice.We stayed here for our honeymoon and it is a really special place, a great place to unwind but also to explore the charming town of Soller and the beautiful Port - plus further afield to Deia and Valldemossa. We`ll definately be revisiting the Soller Atico in the future!

A peaceful haven

A beautiful apartment which is so well equipped we wanted for nothing. The roof terrace was a wonderful bonus, especially in the cool of the evening sitting under the stars. The owner's detailed information was very useful and we loved the restaurants that were recommended.

A Wonderful Stay

The Atico is a delightful light and spacious apartment, extremely well equipped and furnished which made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. It felt like an apartment which is very much a home rather than just a holiday letting. The terrace is a great place especially for morning coffee and those glasses of wine in the evening, watching the swifts flying around and glimpsing the train on the hillsides opposite.

The apartment is central to the town and is very convenient for shops, bars, restaurants, tram to the port and train to Palma. There were a number of good local food shops for when we ate in and we found a number of excellent restaurants, in the town and at the port.

It was a pleasure to meet Sue and Grant for a brief handover and for the advice and information they gave us.

Soller is a wonderful town for just wandering around in or as a base for walking further afield. We would highly recommend visiting Soller and staying in the Atico , which we hope to do again soon.

5-star apartment in brilliant location

This is a lovely 2-bed apartment, presented immaculately. The winning feature is the terrace, with its spectacular view over the town's rooftops. The master bedroom has a huge well-appointed bathroom, and the large second bedroom has a great shower in its bathroom. Everything is supplied in the kitchen which works really well next to the terrace so we ate most of our meals outside. Communication with Sue was 100% and will, I hope, remain so as we fully intend to return!

High quality, high spec and high on my list for a return trip

This apartment was superb. Really well appointed and equipped to be lived in and enjoyed unlike many of the spartan minimally equipped holiday lets. This property had everything you might need for a short or longer break. If you forget to pack something, it’s probably there already. Every room felt well planned and comfortable to be in. We went in November, slightly worried about the weather which turned out to be marvellous but I’d have been happy to spend long days simply sitting and reading in the apartment or on the sheltered terrace. The owner was really helpful and the advance information, advice and directions were spot on. Local parking was easy and the central location of the property was a real advantage. Very highly recommended indeed

Perfect spot for a relaxing exploration of Mallorca

Wonderful apartment in a great location. Very well equipped and located in central Soller. Sue was very responsive and provided all information required. The terrace was wonderful with a beautiful view over the cathedral and surrounding mountains.

Soller is a fantastic base to see the west of Mallorca and a good size town for amenities yet small enough for ambiance. The only caution for the apartment is stairs. Not a problem as long as you can handle such. And parking is a premium if you have a car, We always found a space on St Jaume which was a short but pleasant walk.

Really cant say enough good about this place. THANKS!
