Townhouse Treasure in Belfast
The townhouse was just like the description and pictures. The owner sent us information to access the property along with instruction on how to use the appliances and how to operate the bathroom shower. The property was clean, warm and welcoming. Its location is close restaurants, shopping, bus line and a grocery store.
My adult children really enjoyed it. The twin girls had their own bedroom with the twin beds and my son had his own bedroom with the full size bed. I had the sleeper sofa in the living room. It was a lot larger than the hotel room we stayed at for one night. Everyone was happy.
It also has an IKEA kitchen. This was the first IKEA kitchen I've seen outside of their showroom. It was very well made and suited the townhouse perfectly.
If you're looking for a place to stay for an extended period of time, this is the perfect place. It's priced a lot less than a hotel room with a lot more room.
In the Thick of it
Our townhouse was very comfortable , however a few small touches, like soap in the bathroom would have helped. Overall though, I would happily rent this spot again.
Quiet and comfortable in a safe area.
The owner, Keith, was very responsive to my questions. The place was quiet, clean, comfortable and roomy. The bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs and the stairs were steep so it’s definitely not handicapped accessible. It has a large kitchen and nice living room. It’s very close to restaurants and not too bad a hike to town. Perfect for a family visiting Northern Ireland. I definitely recommend visiting Belfast and be sure to do a day trip to the Giants’ Causeway while there.
Every bit as nice as the photos.
Very nice townhouse, would be happy to stay here again.
Great location for staying in Belfast
The property is conveniently located one block off Lisburn St which has a bus stop right there for going into the city. On the corner there's also a phone to call a cab as well. Just down Lisburn are 3 excellent restaurants: Shu, Porterhouse Steakhouse (for dinners) & the French Village (for breakfast/lunch). Edinburgh St itself could use some cleanup, but it felt safe & the property itself was in good shape. The kitchen appeared to be newly renovated & modern. There were all the necessary requirements there. We'd never experienced an electric shower, but it worked very well. Would recommend this property for anyone going to Belfast. The owner responded quickly to all enquiries and was very helpful.
Good accommodation, convenient location, great stay
My family and I stayed in the townhouse for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The townhouse is located very close to Lisburn Road with shops and restaurants. The big bonus for us was the Windsor Lawn Tennis club within walking distance - my son took full advantage of it!
I must say that I found the owner to be extremely cordial and helpful. Although I never met him, he was super-quick in responding to all my emails and helping us with various aspects of the house and our stay. Thanks!
