Villa Talos is located in the village Spaniakos, just 5 km away from the beautiful town of Paleochora, built in the center of an estate of 20 acres and planted with ancient olive trees. It is a very beautifully, just renovated, old oil press fabric with a private pool of 60 sq.m. and consists of 3 sections.
The first section includes, in the same building, two living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. Its surface is 160 sq.m. and it is a historical building, built around 1800. The second section consists of two independent bedrooms with a separate bathroom each. The third section consists of two independent maisonette-type bedrooms and one kitchen for these bedrooms.
The villa is accessible from the main road through a 800 meters country road, which ensures your privacy as you drive through a hill, full of olive trees.
The village was purely turkish and had the largest mosque of the area of Chania. When it was demolished, its stones were used for buiding the nearby school. It is a tranquil village with olive groves, natural springs, 9 picturesque chappels, a fort and many traditional walking trails for trekking, while it is very close to the beautiful beaches of Paleochora, Elafonissi, Sougia and the gorge of Agia Irini.
This historic property is connected with the lives of many people, of different nationalities, that lived here and left their influence.
It is a location, which, combined with the character of the buildings, offers to the guest, the chance to be in contact only with the South Cretan nature, undisturbed by human activities.
