We have been renting our vacation homes in Maine and New Hampshire since 2007. We take a hands on approach, visiting frequently, to assure a great experience in a well maintained, well equipped, and clean home.
Rich Proto purchased this chalet in 2008
Our guests love thew lodge feel of this property, the peaceful and private setting, and the mountain views - lush green in the summer, vibrant colors in the fall, and snow covered in the winter.
Over our winter break some of my college
buddies and I stayed at two bears lodge.
Everything about the home is nice, the
beds are like laying on pillows, the hot
tub is awesome after a long day of
skiing and the views are outstanding. I
would recommend two bears lodge to
anyone one from Family's to college
students because no matter what age you
are you're going to love two bears
lodge. If you are booking this lodge
with friends make sure you get their
first and snag the loft with the king
bed, you're not going to want to miss
the loft views.
Thanks rich for letting us stay here it
was an incredible trip.
Well this was our second year and the house was just as nice as last year. We are 8 adults and 4 children and while the adults were watching tv and relaxing upstairs the kids were downstairs playing wii
I would reccomend this house to anyone clean and cozy!!!!
Waking up to the mountain views and then the watching the sun go down was just sooo nice!!!!
Rich is a pleasure to deal with and very easy to reach at any time.
So if you are thinking you want to rent this house dont just rent it!!!
My group just loves it!!
Thanks Again Rich!!!!
Two Bears Lodge was a perfect place to relax and enjoy fall in Maine. The house is incredibly clean and well-maintained. We spent the weekend by the fireplace relaxing and enjoying the views from the deck. The hot tub was popular too. We can't wait to stay there again.
This was a wonderful place for our family reunion of four retired siblings and spouses. The layout provided adequate space for shared time and also separate living space, as needed. Beds are very comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. The screen porch is a fun hangout for early morning conversations and the sunsets are breathtaking from the front porch. Rich is very easy to work with and responsive in his assistance. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin in the woods.
Was great fit for our family vacation. 3 generations kids, grand kids and grandparents! Beautiful house, relaxing atmosphere, comfortable. Teens had their own space as well as adults. Would do it again and recommend anyone who is looking for a great place to stay for all ages. We had ages 2-64 and Loved it. Will do again next year Thank you Rich!!
Had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Two Bears Lodge. It fit my friends and I perfectly and it was overall breathtaking. Very clean, spacious and the beds were super comfy. I have to say, the deck was an amazing part. From being able to wake up and sit on the deck with breakfast, or come home from a long day of adventuring and eat dinner there to watching the stars at night (so many shooting stars we saw - wow!!) it was a very memorable experience. It was in a perfect location for all we wanted to do - kayaking/canoeing, zip lining and hiking. It was very hard leaving and leaving the beautiful state of Maine but we promised we would be back. Look no further if you're looking for a place to stay for your vacation because this house is absolutely worth it! Thank you, Rich, for giving my friends and I an absolutely sublime and memorable experience while staying in your Lodge in Maine.
Stayed Aug 4 - Aug 8 2016
We had an amazing time, the scenery alone is enough to make myself keep coming back, the fact that the kitchen had everything you needed, wine fridge, cooking utensils..ect. made for great time. I would definitely stay there again.
