A detached stable with charm and character alongside lovely views of hills and fells close to Bassenthwaite Lake. . Hill and lake views. These three holiday properties are furnished and equipped to a good standard and situated in pleasant, quiet countryside with splendid views of the surrounding hills and lakes. Skiddaw Cottage (ref W8310) is a detached former stable situated across the courtyard which has been renovated with charm and character, whilst Stable Cottage (ref W8311) and Byre Cottage (ref W8312) are former barns which have been rebuilt into cosy ground floor holiday properties (the owner’s live in the accommodation above). You can walk or cycle locally or a short drive brings you along the nearby Bassenthwaite Lake where you can sail. It is 7 miles for Derwentwater and Keswick, with all its shops, cafes, pubs and varied restaurants and superb fell walking. The Georgian market town of Cockermouth is 7 miles. Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 100 yards.. All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet.. Electric central heating included..
