The market town and seaside resort of Hornsea offers an excellent choice of restaurants, many trendy cafés and a bar dedicated to craft beers, all within easy walking distance. Day trips include Honeysuckle Farm (ideal for young families); The Deep (the world’s biggest submarium) which is full of exotic deep-sea creatures, in the port city of Hull; the lovely county town of Beverley with its racecourse, twice-weekly markets, annual world-class music festival held at Beverley Minster, and of course the Yorkshire coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey to the north. Take an exhilarating trip over the Humber Bridge, a fascinating suspension bridge over the wide expanse of the Humber Estuary. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/4 mile.
