The legend of Land’s End, with its breathtaking clifftop walks, is also close by. You are only a few miles away from the square at St Just with craft/curiosity shops, art galleries, bakery, butchers, post office, tea rooms and four pubs, which all serve great food. Visit Cape Cornwall, with its glorious coastal walks passing the famous Crown Mines, which were featured in the Poldark TV series, as well as the golf course. The Minack Theatre, cut into the rockface with the ocean as backdrop is also a must, overlooking the beautiful Porthcurno Cove. Also worth the visit is the busy town of Penzance, with its harbour and sweeping Mounts Bay, as well as the historic town of Marazion overlooked by St Michael’s Mount. Cycle hire, bird wildlife marshes, water sports and sub tropical gardens, great walking, surfing and history of the famous mining industries can be found in the local area, which has World Heritage status.
