This detached holiday property is just a short stroll away from a secluded, sand/shingle beach and sits in the tiny clifftop hamlet of Buck’s Mills, one of the most beautiful villages in North Devon. The village is a secluded hidden gem with pretty white-washed cottages speckled along a wooded valley at the end of a no-through road. Pretty gardens surround the cottage and the secluded rear courtyard is the perfect spot for a lazy breakfast whilst planning your day. There is plenty for everyone with birdwatching, fishing, riding, golf, surfing and sailing close by.The pretty walk down through the village takes you to the steep clifftop pathway, which winds down to the beach overlooking Lundy Island and the Atlantic Ocean. The coastal path leads you to the famous fishing village of Clovelly and the unspoilt beach at Peppercombe, or if you are feeling energetic, you can walk all the way to Westward Ho! A village store and post office is 1 mile away and nearby Bideford has restaurants and town amenities, along with boat trips to Lundy Island. Hire a bike and explore the nearby Tarka Trail, or venture out and visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Docton Mill and Hartland Quay. There are many pretty fishing villages to explore including nearby Instow and Appledore. The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks make a fantastic day out. Beach ½ mile.
