Overlooking the picture postcard and floral High Street of Pateley Bridge, within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 18th century holiday apartment is comfortable, superbly presented and ideal for both summer and winter breaks.It has been lovingly restored and is furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furniture. The delightful dales town of Pateley Bridge offers a great combination of pubs, restaurants, varied shopping, all within 50 yards and the acclaimed Nidderdale Museum is within walking distance. The valley of Nidderdale has a wealth of places to eat, from hearty village pubs and cafes to a Michelin star restaurant, all within 5 miles.The Old Clockmakers is well placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park, both on foot and by car. Walkers will enjoy hiking along the Nidderdale Way, a circular route that passes through the town, or for a more leisurely flat stroll, walk the banks of the River Nidd, upstream to a local pub. At the head of Nidderdale, set in a wildly rugged landscape, lie 2 reservoirs, the largest masonry stone dams in the world, popular with bird watchers and walkers, whilst being easily accessible by car.
