This holiday property is peacefully tucked away with its own enclosed garden, yet conveniently placed, being only a 5-minute walk from the beach, and a 2-minute walk from various shops, tea rooms, eateries, inns and church. The charming village of Rottingdean is steeped in history and has a green, a pretty church and duck pond. Only a 10-minute drive or bus ride to Brighton Marina and the cosmopolitan city centre, with numerous bars, live music, eateries, theatres, art galleries and antique shops. Enjoy shopping along The Lanes, saunter along the pier, visit the Royal Pavilion or the racecourse. There are various NT homes and gardens to discover including Nymans, Leonardslee and Wakehurst Place, as well as vineyards, ferry trips to Dieppe from nearby Newhaven and the historic Arundel Castle. The glorious South Downs has excellent walks and cycle routes, or visit Devils Dyke, Cissbury Ring and Borde Hill. Opera at Glyndebourne is a short drive, as are races at Brighton, Hickstead, Plumpton, Sheffield Park and South of England Showground. The Bluebell Steam Railway is also worth a ride!
