The location of this property is perfect and the views are amazing. Such a shame in the inside was dirty on arrival. This cottage is unloved and I feel neglected. It's in desperate need of a makeover and a deep thorough clean. Disappointed doesn't even come close.
On arrival we were very disappointed as the pictures make the cottage look amazingly clean and tidy. We were greeted with a dirty & smelly cottage. There were cobwebs everywhere, dead flies, hair clips, mouldy bin, crumbs in the kitchen, hairs in kitchen drawers and all over bathroom floor, squashed dead moth on lounge wall. Damp in bathroom and on ceilings, stained bedding, food splatters over kitchen tiles. Mould and dirt on inside of washing machine door.
It smelt of dogs and we were sure there were fleas in the lounge on the sofa because as soon as we sat down we all started itching. My husband and 2 daughters were bitten.
We had a lovely week staying at this cottage, There were 6 adults we found it to be clean and tidy, plenty of room for us all, everything you needed was available, also parking for 2 cars very useful, it is situated in a central location and within easy walking distance of both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. thank you Louise we will definitely be booking again
