Various tourist attractions include The Monkey Sanctuary, The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and many golf courses along with National Trust gardens and houses. The Eden Project is an easy drive and provides a great day out, as does Padstow, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey, a picturesque seafaring town providing sailing, kayaking and pleasure trips along the Fowey River.Deep sea fishing, pleasure trips and other water sports can all be enjoyed, along with woodland and coastal walks, horse riding and river kayaking. To the east of the town is the historic city of Plymouth with its theatres, cinemas, bowling and shopping, while to the west is the sea faring town of Fowey, home to the royal sailing regatta and many galleries.
