Just a short walk from the beach and within easy reach of Scarborough, this is the ideal place to enjoy a seaside holiday.. This detached, chalet bungalow is situated in an ideal location, close to the town centre with its many shops, pubs and restaurants, and only a short walk to the sandy beach and promenade. With an enclosed rear garden, accessible directly from the sun room, this makes a great place for family holidays. It benefits from two bathrooms, one up and one down, and a ground floor double bedroom, with good sized living space for everyone. Excellent walks are available along the Trans-Pennine Cycleway and trail, running just 50 yards from the property, the eastern end of which starts in Hornsea and crosses the country to finish in Southport, Lancashire. This path also gives direct access to the seafront and its miles of golden, sandy beaches. It is a 10-minute walk to Hornsea Mere, the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire, for yachting, boating, walking, birdwatching, the well established, 18-hole Hornsea Golf Club and Hornsea Freeport for shopping. There are a further ten golf courses within a 20-minute drive, rendering the property an excellent base for a golfing break. The market town and seaside resort of Hornsea offers 8 different choices for fish and chips, in the town and along the seafront, along with many trendy cafés and a bar dedicated to craft beers, all within easy walking distance. Day trips out include Honeysuckle Farm (ideal for young families) on the edge of Hornsea, The Deep (the world’s biggest submarium) which is full of exotic deep-sea creatures in the port city of Hull, the lovely county town of Beverley with its twice-weekly markets and annual world-class music festival held at Beverley Minster, and of course the Yorkshire coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey to the north.
