The quiet and beautiful natural countryside is right on the doorstep of this detached holiday cottage. The cottage has a cosy interior and there is a good sized garden at the rear of the cottage garden, as well as a sitting-out area at the front. The cottage is a short drive from Wheddon Cross which has a well-stocked convenience store and pubs. Further afield. there is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on the moors, and many places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watermeet Gorge (NT), valley of the rocks and the funicular cliff railway, are within an hours drive. Looking towards Minehead, there is the promenade to enjoy an ice cream whilst walking along, as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities. A visit the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle (NT), with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and Mill will make for an interesting day out. Watchet, Porlock and Porlock Weir hold plenty of charm and interest to those who visit the area. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor. Shop, pub and restaurant 1&frac12; miles..
