Although remote, the property is only 4 miles from the market town of Forfar, where there is and abundance of local facilities as well as a good golf course, a nature reserve and swimming pool. The area is rich in history and is an ideal base for touring, hillwalking, bird watching, horseriding, visiting castles, National Trust properties and Pictish stones. To the east are the very good beaches of the Angus Coastline, whilst to the west the Angus Glens are a challenge for all walking abilities. Forfar Loch attracts anglers, walkers and wildlife, whilst Glamis Castle is a short drive away. There are several very good golf courses within an hours drive, not least St Andrews and Carnoustie. An ideal choice at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
