Fab little dog friendly cottage!
Cottage is in a fab location, right by the Bouthwaite reservoir, so had some amazing views. Ideal setting for walks with the dog. The road to Pately is quite bendy and really not good for walking but from the cottage you can walk along the reservoir safely to Pately Bridge. A great pub, The Sportmans Arms, is a lovely little stop for food or just a drink, also dog friendly which was good for us. We took our dog everywhere with us and found a lot of places accommodating. The cottage is very comfy and cosy with an open fire, well equipped, towels and bedding are provided, Sky tv was also provided. No wifi but that didn't really matter to us. If you are into parties and a social scene this isn't for you, but if you want peace, tranquility, the sound of the birds and the normal countryside noises then book this cottage!! The cottage is well placed in the Yorkshire Dales so a good base to work from to travel and visit the area. Our first holiday in Yorkshire and definitely not our last we are looking to book this cottage again next year....this time for 2 weeks!!
