Amble has a good selection of eateries with an award-winning ice cream shop on the harbour, where boat trips to Coquet Island can be taken. It has a conservatory and garden and is located 2 minutes drive from Warkworth with its hillside castle, river walks and pubs. Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens is 9 miles. Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster and Beadnell are approximately 30 minutes away. Newcastle is 50 minutes. Shop 600 yards, pub 500 yards, restaurant 0.5 miles..
