This ground floor apartment forms part of Aislaby Hall, a country house set within its own grounds close to Whitby.. Wonderful views. Just a short drive from the ancient seaport of Whitby is the tiny hamlet of Aislaby where you will find Aislaby Hall set in its own grounds. Both the Hall (ref W43005) and Garden Apartment (ref W41221) afford breathtaking views towards the Esk Valley. Garden Apartment forms the ground floor of this large country house. Steeped in history, the Hall dates back to the 1800s and still retains many of the original features of a bygone era. Antique, reproduction and contemporary modern have been brought together to offer spacious accommodation perfect for a long-awaited family get together or to celebrate that special occasion. The ancient seaport of Whitby known for its connections with Captain James Cook boasts a colourful harbour that leads to a 3-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beach, perfect for a fun-filled family day at the seaside. Dominated by the abbey ruins and St Mary’s church, where Bram Stoker found his inspiration and Dracula was born, 199 steps lead to the ruins where breathtaking views across the coast line can be enjoyed. Visit fishing villages and smugglers’ coves dotted a long the coastline such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes - all untouched by the hands of time.
