This pretty 17th century farmhouse, on a site dating back to the Domesday Book, nestles in the peaceful Dorset countryside. It has been sympathetically modernised whilst retaining many original features including beams, a flagstoned floor, mullion windows and an inglenook fireplace. Surrounded by 42 acres of pasture accommodating sheep, horses and poultry, and set in a verdant, peaceful garden with games available, the farmhouse is a haven of peace and quiet. Enjoy the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site with breathtaking walks both east and west. West Bay provides a small sandy beach and the beginning of the famous shingle Chesil Beach, and has a picturesque harbour. Mapperton Gardens, Forde Abbey, Abbotsbury Gardens and Swannery, Weymouth and Lyme Regis all within easy reach. The property also has a shared swimming pool available for use between 1st June and 30th September (heating charge up to £6/day). Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile, restaurant 0.5 miles.
