Modern living at its best, this new apartment has every facility you will need for a relaxing stay in the Algarve. Situated in 'Albasol', a modern apartment block for only 12 residents, with large pool and private gardens. Entrance is via electric gates to your own indoor parking space. Access is then via lift or stairs to the first floor. The apartment has a delightful open plan lounge and dining area with walk through kitchen, featuring everything from juice maker to dishwasher, electric hob and oven etc. The bedrooms and lounge doors, with electric shutters, lead directly to the large outdoor balcony, where you will find comfortable outdoor dining for 6 persons. There is a separate outdoor BBQ area with direct kitchen access and of course, your sun loungers! Balcony views look towards either Meai Praia beach and the Sea to the left, or to the right, the Old Town of Lagos. The Beach is walking distance approx 7-10mins and the Marina and Old Town 10 - 15minutes. Just 1 min by car.

This luxury Apartment has been carefully furnished and secifically set up for you to enjoy a restful stay in one of the Algarves most delightful areas. Ideally positioned in Albardeira, within the old town of Lagos, the beautiful Marina with its many restaurants, and the long and uncrowded beaches just a 6minute walk away or less than 1minute by car!

Careful thought has been put into ensuring that the Apartment not only matches but exceeds your expectations, and you are able to concentrate on relaxing and enjoying yourselves. All appliances are fully tested however in the event of any uncertainties occurring, our English local management team are available only a phone call away.

Family Holiday September 2010

With 2 children aged 3 and 4 we returned to our favourite apartment where we moved our home in the UK to our holiday home in Lagos. The boys just love running down to the Marina at night to see all the boats, and to get their ice cream sundaes (and our bottle of wine) as the sun sets. We watch the Dolphin Safari boat come in and the bridge working to let the big cruisers into the Marina. Some nights we'd carry on walking into the charming Old Town, and if we hadn't barbequed on the huge balcony at the apartment, we'd eat at one of the fabulous beach bars and the boys would run on the beach afterwards. The apartment has all you expect these days and more - we particularly love the black out blinds, the security arrangments, comfy beds and the knowledge that Chris is on the end of the phone if needed (we forgot the security code!). It's lovely and quiet, super-clean of course, as is the pool with the pristine garden. Then our next priority - the choice of beaches. Something for everyone, Huge long stretches, little coves, and when we had enough sun we walked down to the train station to give the boys a trip into Portimao. So perfect - you must try it!

This begins with the quality of the property itself, its location and the facilities within. By purchasing modern properties in the very best locations, I then have an excellent base product to offer clients from the outset, add to this good information and the best 'on site' staff with positive attitudes to look after the property and you are then certain to provide the client with peace of mind, allowing them to relax and to enjoy their holiday. It is helpful that the property has a modern and fresh feel to its internal and external areas, and important that all appliances are new, or working well and regularly serviced. My own policy is to visit each property 3 times each year for a two week period in March, October and again in early December, this enables me to organise and check on every aspect of the property and to keep ahead of any minor issues and to ensure that my properties continue to produce happy memories for all of my guests.

Excellent Apartment

This is an excellent apartment, a friend and I stayed for a week during May. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious - important for 2 girls! Chris's attention to detail is superb, everything that you need is supplied, even down to a selection of DVD's and Books should you want to spend a relaxing afternoon inside.

There are sun loungers on the balcony as well as some supplied for use down at the pool. When we were there although the other apartments were occupied we had the pool area to ourselves all week which was nice.

A few minutes walk away is a local shop selling all the daily essentials, bread milk etc and 5 minutes drive is a large supermarket selling everything that you need.

A short walk down the hill is the Marina and if after walking into Lagos town or after eating a meal in one of the many restaurants you don't wish to walk back up the hill .. taxis are readily available.

When you book Chris gives you an informative information pack, including places to visit etc. A nice touch is also a visitors book in the apartment where others can share their experiences, days out favourite restaurants. This is the 2nd property of Chris's that I have stayed in and I can't recommend it highly enough, everything has been thought of to make your stay an enjoyable one. Thanks Chris, we will be back.....

Amazing apartment

I stayed in the Amelia apartment for 1 week in September with my family (5 adults 1 small dog). It's a fantastic apartment very clean,modern very spacious and has all the appliances you need fr your stay.

The apartment has a great balcony overlooking the pool and sea views. Also has a garage which is very handy to park your car in the shade when it's very hot in the summer months.

The apartment is in a great location,short walk to the Marina ,bars and restaurants ,beach and all the other local amenities .

I would stay in this apartment again and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family as we were all impressed with this apartment in our stay.

Chris was extremely helpful and provided great customer service.

Family of 6 Holiday

A recent stay at apartment Amelia was very enjoyable for our family of 6 to include 4 children age ranges 2 yrs to 13 yrs. The owner Chris went the extra miles to ensure everything about our stay was spot on. We cannot praise his approach and attention to detail enough and the apartment and location was everything it said on the tin unlike our previous less encouraging experiences in foreign private rental properties.

The apartment is homely with everything you might possibly need. It is located in a quiet part of Lagos with sea views from the extensive balcony and at night a good outlook onto the vibrant old town of Lagos. There is a shop only a minute or two away on foot which sells everything to keep you going and the fresh pastries and rolls went down well with our children everyday.

The apartment is very secure and we met some nice people poolside. Pool itself is a good temperature not too cold nor too hot. A good way to cool down in the midday sun.

Car hire non essential as you can walk down the hill to the marina in around 5-7 minutes and a further 5-7 minutes to the lovely old town where there is plenty of restaurants, bars and quirky street sellers.

We often walked to the marina or the nearby beach in the mornings and then down to the old town most evenings. We did however hire a car with local firm DailyRent and spent several days also exploring the wonderful beaches also at Porto de Mos, Burgua and Salema. Salema especially good because sun bed hire was fair at around 4 euro each and they had two huge buckets full of buckets and spades which the children could then freely use. All of the beaches accessible although Burgua is at the bottom of a slight hill and requires a bit of energy pushing a buggy back up!

Lagos has a Saturday market in the bus station area which is very cheap. A good tip is to load up with oranges here so you can use in the juice machine in the apartment. There daily fish market is also a great experience as is the fruit and veg section on the upper floor of the fish market.

We went to so many great restaurants in Lagos but our top experiences were to spend the odd evening at nearby Bahia Beach Bar on the Meia Praia beach and Campimar at Porto de Mos.

A fun time also had at Zoo Marine (highly recommend) and Slide & Splash Waterpark.

We are already planning to return. Great apartment, location, climate and food - forget kids clubs we got to enjoy our kids company........

There are many restaurants in walking distance to the Apartment, especially on the nearby Marina and they seem top have found a clear favourite in Bahai Bar Restaurant on Meai Praia beach. As many families before them they enjoyed the freedom of being able to allow their children to play happily in the sand just feet from where they were enjoying a good meal and a drink, in the knowledge that whilst the children are safely playing that the can find time to relax themselves. Great to know that they will return to the Apartment, I look forward to welcoming them again. enjoy . people often comment on how they enjoy walking and spending a week or two away from the

Apartment Amelia

Myself and my partner and 13th month old, plus mother in law thoroughly enjoyed our stay at apartment Amelia. The apartment is superbly appointed with everything you'd need for a relaxing stay. We loved barbecuing on the gigantic balcony and our baby enjoyed exploring her new home for the week. She also loved chilling out in the pool which we had to ourselves for almost the whole week. We didn't hire a car and I'm glad as everything was within an easy walk; marina (7mins), beach (10mins). The location is quiet without being secluded and is just perfect with a couple of mini markets only 2mins away for all your essentials. Chris was very efficient and dealt with all airport transfers and answered all of my questions promptly. We would definitely like to return to Lagos and hopefully to Amelia again if it's not all booked up!

This luxury apartment is ideally located in the select hamlet of Albardeira Meia Praia, just behind the Meia Praia beach and adjacent to the fabulous Marina De Lagos, in a quiet residential area. The old town of Lagos can be seen just to the right hand side of the large south facing balcony, to the left is the beach and the sea. The apartment is close to all amenities with a handy mini mercado just a one minute walk away and an excellent supermarket minutes away. Close to the beach of Meia Praia, one of the Algarves longest beaches, and also just above the Marina and the old town of Lagos. The beach is a five to ten minute minute walk away, dependant on your choice of entry point. The popular Marina and the old town, a similar distance in a south easterly direction. Albardeira enjoys a mix of modern and original Portuguse architecture. Sitting on top of the small hill leading from the west of Lagos town, the views over the old town and the beach are at their best from this location.

Other Activities: Cafe culture, shopping, nature study and ornothology

Golf: The Algarve is the golfing capital of Europe, in Lagos and the immediate area we have some of the finest courses in the region. 'Palmares Golf Club' is the closest to the apartment and is only a four/five minute car ride to the far side of the beach. The restaurant facilities here at the 'Palmares' are excellent and worth a visit. As with most of the golf clubs in the Algarve the restaurant is open to non members and 'non golfers'.

Experience the famous 'Parque de Floresta' Golf resort, it can be found just 8km from Lagos town, on the road to Sagres. The 'Parque' is also home to the rich and famous and is a must visit during your stay.

A little further towards Faro is Villamoura with its amazing cluster of quality golf courses which seem to blend into one another. Each course is of the highest quality with the restaurants open all day and long into the night.
