An elegantly furnished Grade II listed house on the southern edge of the Snowdonia National Park, perfect for walking and cycling.. These adjoining stone-built properties sit in a prominent position in the tiny hamlet of Llangower on the south side of Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in Wales. With views towards the lake, the shoreline is only about 200 yards away, they provide an enchanting holiday location for those looking for a relaxing stay or ample opportunities for the more energetic. The Grade II Georgian listed Rector’s House (ref OP7) was home to the rector of the ancient chapel at Llangower which was built in the 13th-century but modernised at about the same time as the rectory was built. The local leisure centre provides swimming and fitness facilities and there is a small ten-pin bowling alley nearby and single-screen cinema in the town. The coast at Barmouth is 40-minute drive, and the towns of Dolgellau and Portmadoc, both a 25-minute trip away, provide interest for all the family. Shop and pub 3 miles..
