From here you can either drive or take a pleasant traffic free walk to the nearby National Trust site Llanerchaeron Estate with attractive gardens and gentleman&rsquo;s residence. A little further down the coast will bring you to the quaint seaside town of New Quay, where the houses cling to the rocks and the narrow streets lead to the harbour wall where you can catch a dolphin-spotting boat trip (in season) or enjoy fish and chips whilst watching the many boats bobbing about. Both Cardigan with its castle and Aberystwyth with its promenade and electric cliff railway are easy accessible. If walking is your thing, the coastal path offers 65 miles to explore; you can walk a stretch of it and then catch the Cardi Bach bus home.
