A beautiful cottage right in the centre of Coniston. Very close to the pubs and shops but the secondary double glazing meant we didn't get any disturbance from anyone outside. The cottage is beautifully presented and very comfortable. There isn't any dedicated parking but our car was alright and if anyone is concerned about it you can pay the pub£5 a day to park in their car park.
This is our 21st year of going to Coniston for the same week, and its probably the best cottage we've stayed in. We'll definitely be back!
Our dog also loved his stay there as well!
We had two fantastic meals in the Steam Bistro which is a very short walk from the cottage. I'd definitely recommend it for a lovely meal.
