Cozy, comfortable and welcoming
We had a wonderful time at Rhydlanfair. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and the property was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed, and it was beautiful. The farm walk is well worth the time; the view from the top of the hill is just lovely. We built a fire every night and it was cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. We were close enough to town that a short drive took us to the Sherpa bus or the train station so we did not have to drive much to explore the region. The hikes and walks were all beautiful. The cottage includes access to the leisure center in town, so the kids could visit the pool while I relaxed in the jacuzzi after a hike. The house is not too "fussy" with knick knacks, which relieves parents of the stress of worrying about the kids breaking things. It's a great property and a lovely cottage. The hosts are helpful and very friendly, so we felt safe and welcome. It is a beautiful and obviously well-loved farm, and a perfect family getaway.
