Set in a pretty village with stunning sea views and just 50 yards from the beach of Gorran Haven. . With superb sea views, just 50 yards from the sandy beach of Gorran Haven, this popular and brightly decorated, spacious, 19th-century cottage, one of four converted from a pair of Victorian dwellings, is ideal for a traditional seaside holiday (beach furniture is provided). For those more energetic it is also adjacent to the South Cornwall Coastal Path, leading to awe-inspiring, rewarding cliff/beach walks and access to the National Trust headland. Picturesque Mevagissey, Charlestown harbour, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, National Maritime Museum, Caerhay&rsquo;s Castle, Pentewan Cycle Trail, farm shops and local pubs are within easy reach, as are golf, tennis, surfing, kayaking, sailing, sea fishing and numerous other beaches. The village has a post office, general store/bakery, beach shop, fish and chip shop, cafes, licensed bistros and a bespoke restaurant and bar (some of these are seasonal). There is a public car park 300 yards from the cottage. The cottage has a comfortable living room with sea and coastal views, a separate well-equipped kitchen with dining area, two spacious bedrooms, a double bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedded room. There is an elevated seating area that has stunning views of the village, sea, beach, harbour and cliffs that stretch away for miles in to the distance. The porch and seat outside the front door also have fabulous views of the sea and cliffs. There is a shared rear courtyard which leads to a large outhouse where beach equipment, wetsuits, surf boards, canoes and cycles can be stored, as well as washing facilities for wetsuits and beach equipment. There are two smart televisions that are supported by superfast broadband/wi-fi for guests entertainment. The cottage has a small sharing library and a number of traditional board games to play with the family after a day out. Gorran Haven is loved by all and is a great place for a holiday.
