This charming cottage with its own secluded rear garden, occupies a wonderfully peaceful location overlooking Siblyback Dam and open countryside, 8 miles from the sandy beach at Looe. Attached to the owners’ home, it sits adjacent to their 26-acre farm which has a footpath running to the lake where various water sports and fishing is available. This beautiful area, created as a result of the ice age is ideal for walks, bird watching and course fishing (permits available from owner). The owners kindly offer cooked breakfasts and afternoon tea in the main farmhouse or should you wish to explore the area, picnics can be made to order by prior arrangement. Nearby are the spectacular Golitha Falls and Bodmin Moor offers excellent walking. Several National Trust properties are within easy reach and the Eden Project is a 40-minute drive. Shop 2 miles, pub 3 miles.
