Nestling on the edge of a 50-acre pine forest and adjoining Woodland Trust forest, where deer, badgers and varied birdlife abound, this delightful cottage enjoys glorious views and is an ideal location for short breaks or family holidays. There is walking and cycling from the door, and this area is an excellent cycle touring location. Lincoln’s famous cathedral, castle and renowned Christmas market, York, with its minster and quaint streets, and the excellent shopping at Sheffield’s Meadowhall, are all within an easy drive. A gentle stroll leads to the local farm shop (open 3 days a week) and the ice cream parlour in Blyton, 2 miles, promises tasty treats. Good shopping in Gainsborough and the lovely medieval manor house of Gainsborough Old Hall are 4 miles. Shop and pub serving food 2 miles.
