Great location, lots of character and brilliant garden for the children
Blacksmiths cottage is in a lovely location in Stiffkey which has a shop (with cafe) and a good pub (the red lion). There are a few short walks to the coast which we didn't do (three young children) but Holkham bay and Wells town beach are only 10 minutes away by car.
The cottage has lots of character and was big enough for us (1 adult with 3 children). There aren't many mod cons or luxuries but it had everything that we needed. We also had a pleasant surprise when we arrived - there is a large garden with some play equipment which wasn't included on the details or photographs. This makes it a great place for families especially as there is also another small garden at the front (included in the photos) with table and chairs. We would return!
