This Nature Reserve at St Abbs Head is located on the South East coast of the Scottish Borders and is renowned as one of mainland Britain’s largest seabird colonies, which is described in the AA Book of Britain’s Countryside "as perhaps the greatest glory in the Scottish Borders". The village of St Abbs itself is at its foot and is where a friendly welcome regularly greets visitors. Scramble across the shore to explore the rock pools and perhaps catch a glimpse of the seals at play...The historic fishing town of Eyemouth is only seven miles down the coastline and has a wonderful maritime museum to visit. The elegant Georgian border town of Berwick, which straddles the salmon-rich River Tweed and where many amenities are available, including a cinema/theatre, indoor swimming and a vast array of shops and restaurants, is only 15 miles south.Please note: The fenced seacliffs are 20 metres from the properties.The properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 12 guests.
