About this property

Enjoy our spacious 2000 sq. ft private ground level waterfront home with a 75' of protected private deep-water dock on a Gulf finger canal. We have a large driveway for 2 boat trailers and cars.

Beautiful, majestic manatees visiting our dock every day.
We are on a finger canal off the Gulf of Mexico & minutes to the Atlantic Ocean via Vaca Cut. It is ideal for those who love boating or just enjoy having quiet time overlooking the water. The patio deck has a gas grill to cook your day's catch while watching the incredible sunset.

Our ground level home with only two steps to the front door, has a lot of extras for a carefree vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, W/D, a fish cleaning table & bait freezer.

We are also pet friendly with a grass backyard. Pet policy limits to 2 dogs, no other animals allowed. There is $150 pet fee.

NO hidden large admin fees, ours are $50 .

There are two master suites with king size beds w/ private baths. Main master Suites has a new adjustable bed. The guest room has two twin beds and a private 1/2 bath.
6 adults MAX per city regulations.

As our guests you have full access to the Cabana Club, which is located on Key Colony Beach 1 mile away. It has sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, Olympic size climate controlled (heated in winter & chilled in summer) pool, hot tub, poolside Tiki bar and restaurant. There is also a changing room with showers as well as a game room for the kids.

As we cross the first big bridge with great ocean views, we feel the stress slip away! Our favorite things about the home are its great location in Marathon near good restaurants and beaches, that it's dog-friendly, the manatees, and that we can rent a boat and keep it there for the week--exploring the gulf and oceanside each day. We discover something new each year. This last time we found out that Coco Plum Beach is where people take their dogs -- and ours had a blast! We will be back for our 8th year!"

Another fabulous FL vacation

This was our second stay at this property having previously stayed for two weeks in Feb 2023. We love the look and feel of the house - so spacious and well equipped. The manatees are constantly visiting in the canal along with tarpon and pelicans. The location makes for super easy access to the gulf for kayaks or paddle boards and convenient access to the bike path. Highly recommend.

Air system not effective. Ac dripping in condensation and starting mold. Filter wet dirty wrongsize

Property location good but manager not concerned. Was to come by or have tvs fixed but never heard back from her all week. Found AC problems but no one to tell too. Dont brag on a system 6 yrs old with a 1 to 2 yr life and this one gone. Plus all the water which baking soda boxes wont fix.

Family get away

House is very clean and as described. No issues while present. Appreciated owner check in via email and text to ensure we were pleased and to see if we needed anything. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the back porch and used dock. Bikes were a great plus. Pool is a small drive but the club it belongs to, staff were super friendly and personal and pool was large very clean and enjoyable. Pool did have some short hours ends at 7 pm most days and 5 pm on Mondays but not a huge issue. Kitchen is stocked pretty well. Would definitely stay again!

Lobster trip 2023

Nice property good location. Plenty of space . Only down side was the back porch area has very limited shade. Would be awsome with a cover or gazebo sitting area.

We bought our Marathon home as a family vacation home. We had been vacationing in the keys every august since 1976,. Our family enjoyed it so much, we wanted to spend more time there than just a 2 week vacation.
