There are plenty of museums or national trust houses to visit, Durham Park, Horton Court, Berkley Castle, Oldbury Power station and the Jenner museum to name but a few, and with country parks an easy drive, there’s something for everyone. A little further afield you will find Bristol with its historic churches, maritime connections and architecture and Georgian Bath with its art galleries, museums and theatre royal, along with the wildfowl trust at Slimbridge, Berkeley Castle, Dyrham Park, and the Weston Birt Arboretum all within 20 miles. The Pump House is well placed for a holiday touring this beautiful area, and is just ½ mile from the Cotswold Way.
