Adjacent to the owner’s home, The Old Stable is also well placed for visiting the market town of Burford, the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’, Stow-on-the -Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Bourton-on-the-Water, all picturesque Cotswold towns. Oxford, with its university colleges, parks and shopping, is only 12 miles, and the historic market town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, the birth place of Winston Churchill, are 2 miles. For those who enjoy shopping Bicester village is only 13 miles away and both Regency Cheltenham and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon are 50 minutes by car. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.
