In a truly unique setting close to the shores of the Menai Straits, this detached, Grade ll listed former gate lodge, sits on the edge of the historic Faenol Park, providing direct access to the All Wales Coastal Path, including 600 acres of National Trust trails and woodland walks which guests are welcome to explore. With the owner on hand nearby, this is an excellent holiday location for walking and touring with the dramatic splendour of Snowdonia and the lovely countryside and beaches of Anglesey all easily accessible. Rib rides and other watersports can be arranged on the Menai Straits. The university town of Bangor and the town of Menai Bridge have a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and are both just 3 miles away. Within walking distance of the lodge is the village of Port Dinorwic, with a small convenience store, post office, restaurant, beautician and hairdressers, less than 875 yards away. Port Dinorwic marina also provides boat facilities and storage. For the more adventurous, Plas Menai National Water Sports Centre is just 11/2 miles away, Zip World Velocity, 10 miles away or a little further, Zip World Titan at Llechwedd, 30 miles. Fishing and horse riding can be found nearby. Shop and pub 1/2 mile, restaurant 400 yards.
