About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This pretty holiday cottage, the middle one of a row, is situated on the coast road about 10 minutes walk to the beach, in the village of Hopton-on-Sea. Ideally placed for a seaside family holiday or just to relax and unwind in, whatever the season. The village offers shops, pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues. The property is situated on the Suffolk and Norfolk border and is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the area. Gorleston Beach is about 3 miles away, which has a golden sandy beach with facilities and parking with places to eat and amusements, ideal for families. Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are just 5 miles away for family fun with amusements and funfair, and the children will love East Anglia’s largest theme park, Pleasurewood Hills, which is just a short drive away. Discover Africa Alive, the pretty harbours and coastal towns along the north Norfolk coast or the Suffolk Heritage Coast, where a visit to Southwold, home to Adnams Brewery and famous for its beach huts and pier, is not to be missed. The beach and clifftop walks at Hopton-on-Sea are a must, especially for dog walkers or for those who would like a nice walk and a breath of sea air. The glorious Norfolk Broads where you can hire a boat or take a river cruise and the medieval city of Norwich with its cathedral, castle, museums and fine shopping are all a short drive. Fishing nearby. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
