There’s plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk. The famous “Way of the Roses” bike ride from Morecambe finishes in Bridlington. From Lancashire to Yorkshire, coast to coast, all 170 miles of it! For those who enjoy a good walk, the Cleveland Way and the Wolds Way are just along the coast at Filey. Also along the coast you have Flamborough Head and the famous RSPB Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve, where you can observe gannets and puffins in their natural habitat. For those of you who like a bit of sport, visit the famous cricket festival. The medieval city of York is less than an hour away, where there’s plenty to do for all the family. Visit the minster, walk the city walls or have a leisurely cruise along the river.
