The picturesque coastal resorts of New Quay and Aberaeron offer an interesting day out, and are encased in their tranquil fishing harbours which operate sea safari expeditions along the coast, cruising close to grey seals, rare seabirds and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. A short drive south of the county, leads guests to the iconic Pembrokeshire National Park, which features the magnificent 187-mile stretch of coastline and the rugged Preseli Hills, which are scattered with numerous iron age settlements waiting to be explored. Away from the coast, the countryside has numerous charming towns including Cardigan, Newcastle Emlyn and Narberth, offering a selection of unique gift shops, art galleries and irresistible restaurants.
