The village itself has many amenities, as well as a historic castle. The railway station 100 yards away is a request stop on the pretty Conwy Valley branch line. Visit Blaenau Ffestiniog, home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway and Llechwedd Slate Caverns with Zipworld Titan and Bounce Below. Betws-y-Coed, ’the gateway to Snowdonia’, is just five miles away and offers a wide choice of eateries, whilst historic Conwy and Victorian Llandudno are well worth a visit.
