There is a wonderful woodburner for chilly nights, perfect for curling up and relaxing. There are walks from the door into the beautiful hidden valley of Cwm Penamnen. The village itself has many amenities, as well as a historic castle. The railway station 100 yards away is a request stop on the pretty Conwy Valley branch line. Visit Blaenau Ffestiniog, home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway and Llechwedd Slate Caverns with Zipworld Titan and Bounce Below. Betws-y-Coed, ’the gateway to Snowdonia’, is just five miles away and offers a wide choice of eateries, whilst historic Conwy and Victorian Llandudno are well worth a visit.
